How do you prevent the smoker detector from going off while using the stove top?
I cook steak or hamburger, using my skillet, on the stove top. Even when I use the vent/fan, there still is some smoke that causes teh sensitive smoke detector to go off on occassion. I live in an apartment building so I can't disconnect or move the smoke detector. Any sugestions?
quit burning the food! lol just kidding. Mine does that to. Try putting some saran wrap on it before you cook, and open a door or window slightly. Just dont forget to take the wrap off when you are done-leave the saran box on the counter to remind yourself
