is it the additives in most tobacco products that are the addictive element?
i smoked for about ten years. for the last year of that period i smoked a brand of rolling tobacco that contained no additives. i decided to stop and got a prescription for some nicotine patches. i stopped smoking and started the patches. one week later i decided to stop using the patches to see how i felt. i felt no urge what so ever to smoke again. thus i conclude it is the additives in most tobacco products that are addictive and that if you wish to cease smoking tobacco the best thing to do is to change brands to one that contains no additives, give it a year then stop smoking completely. there may not be much in the way of scientific proof of this theory, but then again tobacco makes a lot of money in sales and taxes and off-shoots like pharmaceutical treatments for lung and throat cancer. death by tobacco also keeps the global population down. if you are a smoker wanting to quit and you don't believe my (worked for me) theory then why not try it for yourself?
It is not the additives it is the nicotine, which is as addictive as heroin!
