Shopping for a gas grill, looking at Weber brand. Please advise?
Trying to choose between Weber's 3 burner options -- they have several models, with different BTU's. There's the 210, the 310, and one higher than that. They cost between $299 and $600. Could you please give me some advice? About how many btu's are necessary for effective grilling, what is good enough, and what is overkill? Thanks.
Excellent answers here. Features and size of the grill that's right for you are most important. For example, most grilling recipies for steaks, chops, etc. recommend grilling over a direct medium fire (350°F to 375°F), which is essentially the same regardless of the BTU output of the grill. It's more a question of you becoming familiar with how to achieve this range of heat on your particular model of grill.
